Who is Stage Sista?

Brooke Taylor is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan’s Dance Department and a Brooklyn-based artist. Her performance credits include Tyler Perry’s A Jazzman’s Blues, Boop! The Musical, and Broadway’s Moulin Rouge!

While she’s grateful for every stage she’s stepped on, Brooke is most proud of writing, directing, and producing her own one-woman show, Turning Pages. Whether she’s dancing in a Broadway spotlight, performing with street artists in New York City subways, or moving freely in her church community, Brooke brings the same deep joy and intentionality to every space she enters.

Through her work, she is on a mission to share her gift and empower others to share theirs. She believes that art and heart are inseparable—and that the most powerful stories are told when both are fully present.
